Jess Magdefrau –  Jmags Graphics

Because of my love for designing, I took a leap of faith when the Emergency Arts project began in downtown Las Vegas and was one of the first tenants to lease space in 2010 and move my freelance business there.  It was worth the risk since the project has evolved into a successful venue for anyone with an entrepreneurial spirit. Continuing to learn is important to me because technology is evolving at a rapid pace.  I am motivated by challenges and have taught myself Photoshop which has been a successful tool for me in my designs.  Volunteering is also a priority because life affords windows of opportunity to make an impact and give back to your community so I love the opportunity to work with non profit organizations.  Volunteering also allows me to build on my skills and develop new relationships.
